Meet the Instructor

Hi, I’m Annalynn, the owner and instructor behind CTRL Pilates.

I started my personal Pilates practice because I got bored with traditional strength training—something I still do and love—but quickly, it became a non-negotiable part of my routine. I noticed how I felt, not just physically, but mentally. Pilates improved my performance in the gym, my posture, and the way I approached challenges in everyday life.

My teaching blends classical and contemporary Pilates, always rooted in the six core principles: breath, control, concentration, precision, centering, and flow. I’m extremely detail-oriented in my approach, prioritizing correct form and intentional movement over rushing through reps. Pilates isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing it right.

My philosophy, “control the controllable,” carries into everything I do. Life will always bring stress and challenges, but this is your time to focus fully on yourself—your mind and your body. In class, that means learning to stay present, push past mental limits, and realize you’re capable of more than you think.

I meet clients where they are, whether they’re just starting out, getting back into movement, or working to improve posture and strength—but I also challenge them. I want you to go beyond the initial urge to quit and tap into a deeper level of focus and control.

The most rewarding part of what I do is watching clients accomplish movements they once thought were out of reach—and then perform them with confidence and ease through consistent practice.

My goal is for every client to feel welcomed, included, and confident. I focus on teaching—not just leading a workout—so you leave each class feeling stronger, more aligned, and more in control than when you walked in.
